Would you care for a pleasant day of sharing your ideas and your holiday spirit with Chengdu expats and locals, while at the same time helping raise money for charity? Then you are in luck. The biggest event of the Chengdu expat community is just around the corner. The 11th edition of the Chengdu International Club’s Holiday Bazaar will be held on the 19th of November. The Holiday Bazaar is a family event where everyone can share their holiday traditions, and the proceedings of the event will go to several selected local charities. The event is organized by the Chengdu Intenational Women’s club, in cooperation with a large group of volunteers.
This year will mark the Holiday Bazaar’s 11th edition. In the past ten years, the Bazaar has been able to bring together Chengdu expats and locals from all walks of life. The bazaar features live performances an appearance from Santa Klaus, great food, activities for young and old, and a silent auction. Last year’s edition was visited by more than 2,000 people, who helped raise more than 280,000 RMB for charity.
The 2016 version of the event promises to be very exciting. This year the proceedings from the bazaar will go to Hopeful Hearts, International Development & Educational Associates (IDEAS), Hua Mei International (HMI) Training Center: Help the Visually Disabled Project 2016, and Liangshan Yi Woman and Children Empowerment Center. There are many different ways that you as an individual or as a business can get involved in the Holiday Bazaar.
Become a Vendor
It is possible to pay for a stand, and become a vendor at the event. This way you can reach a very large part of Chengdu’s international community, and sell your products, while helping wort causes. There are 3 different options for vendors:
- Level 1: A table with no electricity. 400RMB
- Level 2: A table with electricity. 550 RMB
- Level 3: A table with electricity and floor protection for onsite cooking. 700RMB

Become a Sponsor
